Sri Uma Maheswara (Siva Parvathi) Kalyanam
Sri Uma Maheswara Kalyanam re-enacts the wedding of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi and is frequently held around Maha Sivarathri, though families also sponsor it independently through the year — often for marital harmony or as a devotional offering.
We handle the full ceremony: priest and samagri arrangements, mandapam decoration, and sequencing the wedding rites so the event runs smoothly from start to finish.
The kalyanam is conducted with sankalpam, the ceremonial dressing of the deities, mangalya dharanam and the traditional exchange of garlands, followed by Vedic chanting suited to Shiva-Parvathi worship. The ceremony concludes with maha mangalarati and prasadam.
