Swamy Vari Kalyanotsavam

Swamy Vari Kalyanotsavam re-enacts the wedding of a temple's presiding deities and is one of the most visually rich devotional events we organise — decoration, music, the ceremonial procession and the wedding rites all need to come together in sequence.

Families also sponsor a kalyanotsavam on a chosen date, often to mark an anniversary, in fulfilment of a vow, or simply as an act of devotion. We handle décor, priest coordination, and guest arrangements either way, working within the temple's established tradition for the ceremony.

The day typically opens with the deities being ceremonially dressed and adorned, followed by a procession to the mandapam, the wedding rites themselves — including kanyadanam, mangalya dharanam and the exchange of garlands — and closing aarti. Where a family is sponsoring the event, we coordinate their role in the proceedings alongside the temple priests.
