Sri Lakshmi Narayana Swamy Kalyanam
The wedding of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Narayana, sponsored for prosperity and family wellbeing.
Sri Lakshmi Narayana Swamy Kalyanam
Sri Lakshmi Narayana Swamy Kalyanam re-enacts the wedding of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Narayana (Vishnu), and is one of the more frequently sponsored kalyanams for families seeking blessings around prosperity, harmony and marriage. It's also a common choice for couples marking a wedding anniversary.
We arrange the full ceremony — priest, samagri, mandapam decoration and the wedding rites — scaled to whatever size gathering your family has in mind.
The kalyanam follows the traditional Vaishnava sequence: sankalpam, ceremonial adornment of the deities, mangalya dharanam and the exchange of garlands, with Vedic chanting throughout. Couples marking an anniversary often choose to renew their own mangalya dharanam alongside the deities' ceremony, which we're glad to help incorporate.
What to expect
- Mandapam and deity decoration ahead of the ceremony
- The wedding rites performed in full traditional sequence
- Option to incorporate a couple's own mangalya dharanam renewal
- A popular choice for wedding anniversaries and prosperity-focused observances
Conducted by
A priest experienced in the Lakshmi Narayana kalyanam tradition
