Sri Andal Rangamannar Kalyanam
Sri Andal Rangamannar Kalyanam marks the wedding of Andal, the poet-saint, to Lord Ranganatha (Vishnu), traditionally celebrated at the close of Dhanurmasam around Vaikunta Ekadasi. It follows Andal's month-long Thiruppavai vratham, giving the kalyanam a devotional build-up unlike most other wedding ceremonies we organise.
We coordinate the kalyanam itself, and can also help arrange daily Thiruppavai recitation through Dhanurmasam for families or temples observing the fuller tradition.
The kalyanam follows the Sri Vaishnava tradition — sankalpam, the ceremonial adornment of Andal and Ranganatha, mangalya dharanam, and chanting from the Thiruppavai and other Vaishnava texts. The ceremony concludes with maha mangalarati and prasadam distribution.
