Ganesh Navarathrulu (Vinayaka Chaviti Utsavalu)
Unlike Devi Navaratri, Ganesh Chaturthi doesn't traditionally involve nine separately named forms of the deity — its length is instead a matter of family or community custom, most commonly 3, 5, 7, 9 or 11 days. We've laid out a 9-day calendar below since that's the most widely chosen duration, but we plan around whichever length your family or community prefers.
What stays consistent across any length is the arc: pranapratishtha (installation) on Chaviti day, a daily pooja and naivedyam routine through the observance, and Nimajjanam (visarjan) — the ceremonial immersion of the idol — on the concluding day.
We arrange the idol, mandapam decoration, daily archana and prasadam for the full duration, and coordinate the visarjan procession — including transport and immersion-site logistics — so the closing day proceeds smoothly for however large a gathering is expected.
