Sri Devi Navarathrulu (Sharada Navaratri)
Nine nights honouring the Devi in her nine forms, culminating in Vijayadashami.
Sri Devi Navarathrulu (Sharada Navaratri)
Sharada Navaratri is the best-known of the year's Navaratris, honouring nine forms of the Devi across nine nights before closing with Vijayadashami on the tenth day. Each day traditionally carries its own pooja emphasis, and many families or temples pair it with an evening cultural program or golu display.
In Telangana, this period overlaps with Bathukamma, the floral festival observed by women through the same nine days and culminating in Saddula Bathukamma — we're glad to help coordinate both where a family or community observes them together.
We plan the full calendar day by day, along with golu arrangements, evening programs, and the closing Vijayadashami rites, so the festival's pace stays consistent from Ghatasthapana through to the final immersion or Jammi tree worship.
What to expect
- A day-by-day pooja calendar covering all nine forms of the Devi
- Golu display and evening cultural program coordination, where wanted
- Coordination with Bathukamma observance where families in Telangana wish to combine both
- Closing Vijayadashami rites arranged on the tenth day
Conducted by
Priests for the daily pooja calendar, with cultural coordinators for evening programs
