Sri Varalakshmi Vratham is observed primarily by women, invoking Goddess Lakshmi for the family's prosperity, health and general wellbeing. Held every year on the Friday before Sravana Purnima, it's one of the most widely practised household vrathams, often bringing together neighbours and relatives for a shared morning of pooja.

We arrange the kalasha setup, decoration and samagri, and where the family prefers, a priest or an experienced elder to guide the vratham vidhana from start to finish — while keeping the format flexible for a smaller family gathering or a larger group of invitees.

The vratham follows a set sequence: kalasha sthapana and decoration of the goddess form, invocation, the reading of the vratha katha, and the tying of the sacred thread (toranam) by the women observing the vow. Tamboolam and gifts are traditionally exchanged among the women present at the close of the pooja, and we help organise this part as well when families would like it included.

From sourcing the kalasha materials and flowers to arranging seating for guests and coordinating the priest's timing, we take care of the practical preparations so the family can focus on the vratham itself and the gathering around it.
