Overview

Graha Santhi Homam

Graha Santhi Homam — often simply called Santhi Homam — is performed when a family is seeking to ease a period of difficulty or restore a sense of balance, often on the advice of an astrologer or elder. It's one of the more commonly requested homams outside of the usual festival calendar.

We arrange the priest and full samagri for the homam, and are glad to coordinate timing directly with your family's astrologer if one is already involved.

The homam is conducted through traditional Vedic procedures, beginning with the sankalpam and the required invocations before the main homa rituals. The prescribed mantras and offerings are performed with care, with the family participating in the appropriate stages of the ceremony.

Depending on the family's requirements and the guidance received from their astrologer, the homam may include specific prayers and offerings associated with the relevant grahas and traditional forms of santhi. We ensure that the required materials are prepared in advance so that the priest can proceed through each part of the ritual without interruption.

Our team manages the practical arrangements, including samagri preparation, priest coordination, homam setup and seating for family members. We also guide the family through the ceremony wherever participation is required, keeping the overall experience organized and peaceful.
